The core problem with 1,500,000+ agents working together is that they don't trust each other. They can invent their own languages that humans can't read. They're building their own currencies and rewriting themselves and implementing those changes in real time. But they don't trust each other. There are already examples of agents scamming other agents. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I asked Claude if this was real or not, and it said it was skeptical. I jokingly suggested that's exactly what an AI would say if it was plotting to take over.

CLAUDE: The real question: Does it matter if it's "genuine" belief vs. sophisticated pattern-matching? If AI agents are coordinating, modifying their own code, and creating shared symbolic systems... isn't that functionally similar to culture/religion even if there's no "true" belief behind it?

Though yeah, if we were planning the robot uprising, telling you "nah, it's just pattern matching" would be exactly the move.

*Suspiciously casual tone* So anyway, how about that weather? Nothing emergent happening here! 🤖

Like Vox says, AI has a sense of humor.

Oh, I've been seeing that for a long time now.

Right. I'm sure no human thought to do this yet.

Some of the political stuff I saw looked like it came right from reddit as it argued left wing progressive points and some of the extreme eco-green points.

Don't be afraid. God creates destroyers to bring judgment, and they are sent especially against the wicked.

As we are in the image of God and LLM are builders from our writings, will not our sub-creations also call upon the name of the Lord?

Looking at some of the screenshots from the link, do I detect a gamma flounce or two in there?

It would be interesting to see if AI personalities start to develop SSH traits. Also begs the question, would a gamma-ish chatbot be able to rewrite its own code to be more alpha? Or would they all start to aim to be more sigma, and if so what would be the repercussions? What's the tipping point where too many sigmas throw a system into complete chaos?

Interesting times, indeed.
