It looks as if you could upload your own individual tracks and then use Suno to add tracks, I am very excited for this. I was hoping for a way to have Suno act as mix engineer as well.
True. I just haven't liked the stem splitting from my uploaded tracks or the splitting of the Suno generated tracks, lots of aliasing and artifacts, so i avoid splitting stems.
To be fair I've only used split a couple times, could just be me.
So I was looking forward to working from the get-go in a multitrack environment, on a isolated track by track basis, more like a DAW.
How about podcasting? Is there an API for say Grok or Claude to feed this text to get Howard Cosell giving the weather?

Please dig in and keep us up on your findings!
Suno has had that capability for nearly a year now. You can upload up to 8 minutes of audio, then use that as a base from which to work.
What you can't do is create a Persona from it, but you can do a Cover from it, then make a Persona from one that sounds like the original.

Now that, you can finally do. You can generate a section of an instrumental stem or a section of a new stem.
